I need some help regarding health insurance for senior citizens, and would appreciate if I can get some information.
I'd like to insure my parents (father's age is 60 and has gone through heart bypass 7 years back, mother is 57 with no history). I need help to decide between SyndArogya and Oriental Happy Family floater plan. For now, I have discovered that SyndArogya does not require medical test, and waiting period of pre existing disease is 3 years. Oriental requires a medical test, and waiting period is 4 years. I don't know what other differences exist between the two. Can anyone help?
I read somewhere that if a senior citizen has gone through heart, kidney, or brain surgery, no ins company accepts their proposal, and if they do accept, they reject it at the time of claim under some excuse. Is this true?
