Help needed to plan Goa trip for month October 2017 for 6 days

Hello friends and elders.
I've been planning for a trip to Goa.
now finalized the dates .
I'll reach Goa on 23-Oct- 2017 (evening) and will be there till 28-Oct-2017 (Morning)
Members are : 3 Members. (my Wife, Kid (1 Year old) and Me)
Vehicle: Honda City
I have planned few things and attached here.
need your valuable suggestions and guidance.

Places for Night Stay.
I have selected two hotels. for first two days. I'll visit North Goa
and on 25 Oct I'll go to south Goa.

Route Plan : Udaipur (Kherwara) -> Godhara ->Vadodara -> Vapi -> Thane (Night Stay) -> Pune -> Satara -> Kolhapur -> Goa.

I've been to Surat many times, So I don't have problem till Surat.
after that, i'll rely on google navigation.

my main confusion is,
will I be able to visit all the places mentioned in my list?
any beautiful place or location missing?
add/remove unwanted places?
hotels with better location (not too expensive).

Surat - Thane 4/6 laned full of traffic near Ghodbandar road bridge.
Thane -Lonavala -pune e-way.
Pune -satara -kolhapur -Nippani 4/6 laned busy road.
Nippani -Ajara -Amboli-sawantwadi-mapusa average road conditions.
Else Nippani -Belgaum (may face city bound traffic )-chorla -Mapusa best road conditions.
All the way safe with all facilities 24×7.
Only try to cover nippani -Amboli /belgaum -chorla ghat before sunset.

is there any reason to complete (nippani -Amboli /belgaum -chorla ) ghat section before sunset?
or just because its a ghat section, so should be avoided after sunset?

Thane to Goa is around 600kms
I believe I'll be able complete this before sunset..
Route 1: Nippani -Ajara -Amboli-sawantwadi-mapusa average road conditions (around 170 kms)
Route 2: Nippani -Belgaum (may face city bound traffic )-chorla -Mapusa (Around 190 kms)
which route would you prefer?
as I have no idea about both routes

please suggest me a good guest house at thane.
amount must be < 1000, I need to spend just one night ..
it should be on highway, or near to highway. I don't want to get stuck in city traffic in the morning.

I surfed on internet and observed that
Route 2: Nippani -Belgaum (may face city bound traffic )-chorla -Mapusa (Around 190 kms) is better.
I'm now thinking of going through this route...
