Help to choose a country for the first trip

Hi,

I've been thinking to take family on a foreign trip since a few years now but somehow it never materialized. Now I've decided to make it happen the next year (either August End or November Start) and hence am interested to gather details of the good locations.

I think Singapore, China, Indonesia, Thailand & Dubai are good options. Budget is around 2.5L for family of 2+2 but can be stretched a bit if required.

Few years back I did some googling and came to decision that the first trip will be to Singapore but China & Indonesia were never in the list then. Also I come to know that many new places have opened up in Dubai in recent time so want to evaluate it once again.

My family isn't very much into ancient architecture as well as shopping. We like to enjoy natural stuff and modern marvels. So please help me list all the must visit places of above countries.

Regards

Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand (Phuket), Bali, Srilanka, Mauritius, Iceland, Maldives, Cambodia, Vietnam, Egypt, Japan- Some of hot favourites now a days.
Filter according to their attractions and favourable weather as per your plan.

Malaysia seems to be dull
Srilanka too near to be called a foreign country
Mauritius & Maldives will have lack of attractions
Cambodia, Vietnam, Egypt have historic places as major attractions
Japan is bit expensive.
Thailand I've kept out of consideration as its family trip and safety concerns (maybe I am paranoid)

Haven't checked but isn't Iceland too costly to fit into my budget ?

Dubai, Singapore, Bali (Indonesia) & China are already in my list.

Haha! Like this you will soon run out of options.
Yes, every place has something and misses another. So its up to you to decide. :)

I've already short listed 4 countries. I want to know more about them. Let me rephrase it... Please guide me on the must visit attractions of China (Including HK if possible), Indonesia (Including Bali/Borneo if possible), Singapore & Dubai.

You have a very goooood opportunity comimg sooooon.

You can enter Pakistan without any Visa.

Kartapur Border will be opened in Diwali,
Recently Sidhu went to Pakistan in PM / Cricketer Iran Khan's Oath Ceremony & faced too much criticism in India.
He was greeted by this verbal border opening opportunity during Diwali.
This is a Gift from Pakistan for us people.

You are saved form getting Jailed for this !
(Espionage Case like Others who crossed border.)

Why not Thailand, it's a mix of everything. Like from beaches to Temple and exotic foods to markets. That too at nominal costs.
