She has to apply first for visa, if embassy asked any further information then she can post here. Why she scared to apply for visa.

Being unemployed is no reason to refuse a visa... at the most you may be asked to produce proof of enough funds to survive during your visit to India and/or hotel bookings etc. . Just write unemployed in the column.. and dont hide anything... I am sure visa will be issued
