Homestays in Chitkul

Hi,

Does anyone know of any homestays in and around Chitkul. There are always hotels, but in my experience, homestays are better if you want to immerse yourself into the local culture.

During my second trip to Chitkul in May-2019, I stayed at Shiva Homestay in Chitkul. There are other homestays at Chitkul but Shiva Homestay is located at the best location opposite to Zostel. The homestay is located near the Rani guest house. The homestay is clean, owner Jai Singh Negiji is very cordial and helpful. Simple and delicious home-cooked meals can be eaten at the Shiva homestay OR there are other restaurants nearby within 50-100 mtr. It has common spacious washroom which is clean.
While other homestays in Chitkul are located within the hustle-bustle of village, Shiva homestay wins the heart by being in the village but being serene/isolated as well.
