Hello mates ,
For past few months their was a irriatating clicking sound from the head unit area , I had changed my OE AVN to 10inch Andorid unit with wireless apple car play on April 2022 , but the clicking sound was annoying from June end onwards , I thought it was from the android unit and I couldn’t find time to visit the android dealer due to work schedules .Mean while my city went in for its routine 70k service on July but few days back I could find time to got to the android dealer where they diagnosed the sound is from the air circulator motor of the automatic ac unit . Tabook my warranty got over on sept 12 and was diagnosed with faulty motor on sept 28 . I called up the ASC , and they told that either I get extended warranty and replace after 2 weeks or replace it at the part cost . Extended warranty for a year was 12 k and the cost of new motor was 1.8k without labour . I choose the second option and changed the motor . Total cost 2.2k.
