The Legend
Hi.
Wanted to share report of a Hotel Landmark with all you guys.
I had a brief stay in this hotel on 25-dec-2010 night.
While driving from delhi almost non-stop,i was fully exhausted and badly needed a decent place for the night stay.
This hotel is located near the 'gol chakkar' at the start of Himat Nagar(coming from delhi side on the GQ,Its very well marked so no issues).
The rates are fine and food is just average, its pure veg hotel and very safe for family.
Here is the Tariff.
Deluxe NoN AC room: :r:800
Deluxe AC Room: :r:1000
Super Deluxe AC room: :r:1200
Executive Deluxe AC room: :r:1500.
There is no service charge applicable for room service, the food is not very expensive( the max price was of a Kaju Curry Rs 80).
Ample SAFE parking inside the premises. :)

Phone numbers: 02772-229180,229280,Mob: 9978929180,9925517110
Recommendation: High.
PS:No pics..as i was too tired (after a 900 km run) to click any.:)

Hi
I have stayed there(strongly recommended by HV Kumar).Dont worry it is safe.Large clean rooms.
Do bargain a bit and do take a photo identity card.
NH 8 before bharuch and after ankleshwar is perenially jammed. So suggest go through Ankleshwar town, over the Narmada golden bridge and through bharuch to rejoin the NH 8.This route may or may not be jammed but the main highway is definitely jammed. You save on toll and distance. After you cross the bridge on your left is the railway station and immediately after that through your windscreen you will see hotel shital.Turn right at the circle and 200 mtrs later you will see a fountain/circle called Kasak circl.Turn left and go straight to rejoin the highway. As the bridge is narrow do keep your side view mirrors folded and drive carefully. In case you are not confident of the route or the tight fit stick to the main highway.
Hope this helps
rgds
PS : Google map shows this route

Thanks Rajat, faustus77 and Friends,

I was back on 22 Feb but was BADLY struck in office, long pending work :( Sorry for late response. I am so excited and overwhelmed to see help from fellow traveller friends like you. I am planning a T'log very soon. Here is the brief:

Faridabad – Jaipur – Ahmedabad – Saputara – Shirdi – Shani Shinganapur – Pune – Goa – Mumbai (Panvel) – Himmatnagar – Ajmer – Faridabad
Vehicle – Honda City, 2011 Model
Travellers – Self, Wife and 4 Year old son
Duration – 12 Days, 10th to 22nd Feb 2012
Distance Travelled – 4600 kms (4597.7 to be precise) :)

Special thanks to Ramky who was mentoring me throughout this trip, helped me in getting hotels, navigating me through the maze of traffic through Ahmedabad city. Gave me lots of time weather he was in Home or Office. Hats off to you Ramky.

Thanks to Kumar who gave me the key to avoid Mumbai traffic and to Cautiousely Bypass Mumbai :) Ramky and Kumar prepared an extensive travel iternary for me. Its only because of friends like you that this journey was possible.
