Place: Hotel Sai Palace Garden
Location: coming from Mira Road side towards Ghodbunder road, on the right side (adjacent to Dara da dhaba). If you coming from Thane, then take left on the Fountain signal and ahead 2 km towards Mira Road.
Description: a restaurant build on a very large land. provides open air seating and also AC. they also provide rooms. evening they hosts live ghazal in the open area. few coin-based games for children, along with a park with slides, swing etc
Food: serves veg, non-veg, drinks.
quite a natural environment, with many trees, especially the black-jamuns and mulberries can be found around. Ducks roaming in an area.
I have been this place many times, food is really good and so is the ambiance. They also offer unlimited Veg Buffet (our favorite) on Sat evening, Sun lunch and dinner; priced these days around Rs.350 for adults. This buffet is served in a big open place, and you have abundant variety of food to choose from - many salads, pani poori - chaat - dahi wade, 4-5 starters, live dosa and pasta counter, 2-3 sabji, roti/naan, 2 chinese dishes, fruits and 2-3 desserts. absolute value for money, keep munching. Two years back, we celebrated my daughter's birthday here - the kids enjoyed playing games and dance (hotel provided music system) and guests were really happy enjoying the variety of food.
even the "a la carte" (menu) also offers very vast choices, with great taste. weekends are really crowded, so better reach there by 7-7.30 and reserve a table.
enjoy,
Pranav
