How long did your Car battery last in your Car??

I recently read that Nexon EV owner posted that his 4 year and 60k km EV car has come to replacement.
Tata motors provide 8 year warranty and this is the reason EV is costly to factor in a Battery pack 1 time replacement.
The cost of the pack is INR 7 Lakh.
So, the running cost of EV is INR 13/km.

My Nexon's 3⅟₂ year, 35 k km old OE stock Amaron battery is doing fine, thanks to Bosch C7 trickle charger.

My Nexon XZA+ D AMT still runs on OE stock Amaron battery, thanks to Bosch C7 trickle charger, successfully completing 4 years and 42 k km.

OEM battery ususally last 2-3 Year. never crossing 3 Yr. And can give up in under 2 yr rarely.

I have 2 automatic cars and cannt afford a battery issue. So I change most battery near 3.5 yr of life.

Sir, What I have observed is that Battery last for 3 years / 55-60k km. If one clocks 55-60k km in 3 years, battery has to be changed. If the km clocking is less in 3-4 years would last for more number of years. Your jewel [car] have another 13-18k km to clock.
My personal opinion, I do not think the battery life is getting extended with the charger you're using. This will reduce the load on the Car Alternator to minor extent, eventually the Battery has to be charged up if the Car is running more than an hour. For sure this charger will help, for some reason if the battery has died down due to external factors.

Also, the battery's life is dependent on the number of ignition start-stop, I understand. Yes, my Nexon has run less in 2020 and 2021 due to the Pandemic. All my previous cars' [Omni/Versa/Linea's] OE stock batteries have also served more than 4 years except XUV 5OO's, perhaps due to its auto stop-start function.

Yes. This is the reason I bought the trickle charger.

Once in 2020, Nexon's battery went dead completely. I jump-started it using my son's car battery. So, I bought Bosch C7 to avoid any surprises in the last minute.

Finally replaced the car battery on my Terrano last week.
The life I got is 3 years 2 months and 56k km.
Initial Battery 64K km,
Second Battery 60k km
Third Battery 56k km (Though the Battery didn't die, I didn't take chance for any Abrupt breakdown).

I am wondering whether there is any point mentioning that my car batteries have always lasted 5 years or more in petrol cars; the only battery that had to be changed in under 3 years was in my Scorpio. My cars are always low mileage cars, typically less than 7000 kms per year.

I change battery every 3 years before they sign of weakness. Cannt take chances with AT

it depends upon type of battery also. battery which came with car will not last more than 2-3 years.my wagon r battery became dead exactly on 2 years 2 days, safari battery normally lasted 3 years, altis whose running is quite low never more than 4 years,terrano 3 years,pajero sport 2nd set was changed after 4 years.i am sticking with amaron for all my battery requirement.
