Yes, the crop is fine, but the picture over all is a snap shot.
This is due to flat light coming from the on camera flash. What time of the day this pic. shot? You could have got a better picture from the ambient light if the subject was placed properly.

Its around 4pm on a cold foggy day.
Yes the Sun (hidden in clouds) could've helped but I needed this particular background.

Ankur,i see a considerable amount of noise in your original pic even on ISO 500.
I also notice that this lens is quite soft at 1.4.
You need to find its sweet sharp point and compensate that sweet narrow apperture by inceased ISO and Slow speed.

Yes masterji i agree that the picture is noisy (even with flash) . this was shot with d3100, and a rented f/1.4g

Do you get lenses on hire in India? From where? Can you find me a source in Mumbai?
This could be fantastic. It could save the headache at the customs every time when I travel to India.

Henry, i hired this lens from singapore. Not sure about India. I see masterji provided a link on this.
