Hi Anupam,
I guess this is your name. I saw Ankur addressed you by that name.
This picture is a nice extreme close-up. The back ground, even though blurred distracts little, maybe due to strong colors. The eyes starts to wonder at the bg trying to figure out what it is but then again settles on the portrait because it is quite strong.
This means your picture in its entirety works.
That's my interpretation.

I feel I burnt the nose. Rest lets see reply from experts.
Hi Vikas,
I like this picture because the girl is attractive. The subject matters the most. Now for critics.....
The high lights on the nose is not so much distracting but the back ground is. I can easily see it was shot in a bedroom and also there is some bright white object right behind her head.
The light I guess is from the left of the girl at 45 deg. It has cast strong shadows under her chin but the face is lit fine. You could improve this picture by adding a fill light from the right of the subject. It could be a white foam board that will bounce the light. The fill light will make the light softer making the portrait more pleasing.
Straight out of camera is like saying take this car which is out of the assembly line without polish, cleaning and any final touch up. Processing is an important part in photography. This picture can be improved a lot with processing.
