How to read IGL's Meter for PNG in residential apartments?

After a LLLOOONNNGGG wait (and many heated arguments) of more than 6 months, they finally installed the PNG connection at our Noida home.
None of them was able to tell us about how to read the meter!

Well, BCMT is the only solace for me.
Anybody willing to help on how to decipher the meter reading to know our consumption?!

As far as I can tell this meter is showing 'm³, metre cubed' of gas consumed. It is reading to three places of decimal; ie the current reading is 0.217m³.

Your bill will show how many m³ of gas you have consumed and you will be charged at whatever the declared price per m³ is. Please ask IGL what the price is.

Thanks a lot AnupJi.
Is there any method to convert it to its corresponding KGs?

Actually I want to compare the consumption of our earlier 14.2KGs of LPG cylinder against this new installation.

Best way to compare will be with the respective monthly bills.
That is, if you have diligently maintained a record of your gas cylinders usage. :)

Finally our gas connection got activated today.

I wanted to know if anyone knows what the price of gas is, based on the units?

In our area everyone is claiming that the gas bill based on the same usage pattern has been reduced by at least 1/3 over the price they were paying for a domestic cylinder.
