Good one Salil, Have you ever use the Bridge option? you can do watermarking 100s of pic with this? All you have to do it to create an action and call it in bridge.

Better still,

~Create a new .PSD file.
~Use the method suggested by Yogesh or Anup to type the text you want as watermark.
~Put whatever effects you may want on this by going to the blending options and playing with the various options (Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options).
~Save the file as a .psd file.
~Every time you want to use the watermark, open the psd file, hold the Ctrl key and drag the text to the image you want to put a watermark on.
~Press Ctrl + E to merge the layer with the image.
~Save the watermarked image.

Make desired watermark image
Open image in photoshop
Open menu Edit click Define Brush preset

01.png

There will be a confirmation dialog box, so click ok

02.png

Change brush mode to normal or of your choice

03.png

Open Brush sector & select newly added brush preset

04.jpg

Now you can see the brush outline when you hover your cursor on the image

Change the opacity of brush to desired value & click on the image to add the water-mark

and you are done

When you have selected the brush preset you can change the size of brush using key board keys ] to increase & [ to decrease

good one.

I have prepared few PSD files for watermarks of diferent size and purpose, and created actions for each type, to insert that as watermark. So to add a watermark, all I have to do is just run the action of right type and reposition as appropriate. Then I change the opacity as required.

Watermark Softwares for pics

Hi Folks...

Which software do you use and recommend as well? Pros and Cons.

I have few basic things in mind to start with :-

1. Free.
2. No hidden malware/spyware.
3. Which doesn't really mess the joy of the pics with huge font size and opaqueness.

Will tell you the easiest one , Write a text in wordart , copy it and paste on your image in photoshop , reposition, resize and change the opacity.

Save.

If not having photoshop, i can PM you the link for a 3rd party freeware for adding watermarks. Just PM.
