ID required for Bhutan Permit for Indians

As per the latest notification by the Bhutan Government, Indians planning to enter Bhutan from 1st January 2019 will have to show either voter id card or passport as identity proof. Any other form of identification i.e. aadhaar, driving license etc. won't be acceptable.

Hi Yogesh,

I would be travelling to Bhutan solo on my motorcycle in may '19 , would i be able to obtain a permit also do i need to have a prior booking for accommodation .

please advise

And original birth certificate for minors.

I believe it was already there.. they were not accepting any other documents except Passport and Voter ID.
