ILP for Nagaland

I have a strange query.
Hope someone can help me out.

I came to know that if you are entering Nagaland you have to get permit within 24 hrs.
Suppose someone wants to stay a night in Dimapur for a night and wil leave next morning.
Will he require ILP?

The government directive states that you have to procure it beforehand, permit fee is nominal at Rs 6 per person.

In the second URL its not even clear where are the places where i can get the ILP.
Please help me on this. Can i get ILP from Silchar/Agartala/Lumding?

The places where you can get the ILP are already listed in the first link, and that are - Delhi, Kolkata, Shillong, Guahati and Mokokchung. Unfortunately, I do not have any information of ILP being issued at Silchar/Agartala/Lumding. Apologies!

One question here Mokokchung is in Nagaland.. how can one enter there without getting ILP.
My problem is i am not going to Guwahati. I am taking the route of Agartala > Silchar > Lumding.

If i can get ILP in Dimapur also it wil be much helpful for me.

Of course Mokokchung is in Nagaland and you can't enter there without having the ILP. In any case, Mokokchung office issues ILPs that are valid only for Mokokchung and not for rest of Nagaland. What you can do is to entail services of some travel agents who can get you the ILP over post/courier (provided you have some time before you start) for some fee. Some of them are:

You can also call at the numbers of office issuing ILP at Kolkata (nearest for you?) and ask for the procedure if it can be done remotely.


And No! I have not visited Nagaland yet, it's on cards for next year perhaps. This is the reason I'm also researching.

Also i got confirmation from DC office in Dimapur that they will provide ILP in some hours on the same day of arrival.

Nagaland was long time on my list. Hope this time i can cover this.
