Hi,
Has anyone tried Fruit Platter served in Kingfisher or Jet Airways as part of meal?
Would like to know the quality, quantity and freshness.
Dont want to land up with 2 slices of apple and 1 banana for meal in stale state.
Thanks
Viny
Ya, its free but need to know what do they offer under the said menu.
Fruit Platter - which fruits and quantity, i remember once getting 2 sq pieces of pineapple (probably can food), 2 slices of apple and a banana with peels on in Indian Airlines![]()
Yeah the FC is real good at T-3...but during the early morning flights which I take half of the outlets are closedDomestic or International
In Jetlite food is not free, and I never liked food served by Jet and Kingfisher for domestic. I would rather fill my tummy at food court at Airport. Specially food court of IGI is very good
For international flights I dont have to worry much about food
Its domestic, I generally tend to book KF or JET, given the KF's tail spin, I think JET would be the only option left in near future. I am also positive about other up coming companies.
This time I got domestic KF, why ? It was at 50% market price, so took the risk, either i travel at half the market price today or will add 50% more to todays market price, if KF ducks under and i have to select other airline.
Emirates provide Dates and some kind of Figs too on fruit platter. Was wondering if they would serve dry fruits platter
I think there is some sort of Ramzan specific meal too on Middle East Flights

That is what I do, but the problem I have is that I always arrive at Mumbai at midnight-1am and then have a flight to Delhi early the next morning. So by the time I arrive there, I am starving.Back to airline food, my general experience is that it is almost uniformly disguised sawdust in various forms and shapes. We usually avoid altogether or eat the bare minimum, if absolutely necessary.
