How was it? :)
Rice with artichoke, choclate cake, bread, some sort of sprouts.
Wondering if chocolate cake and bread where eggless to be termed as vegetarian meal.

Ive never had the vegetarian meal option before on my international flights but judging by the stale sawdust they pass off as food to me, I may just try it next time.

Being a cheapskate, I usually pack some sandwiches/snacks in my carry on luggage.

Eggless cake or pure vegeterian meal is other option. Airlines serve meal where no diary product added. Customer can choose meals as like.

ANA original bread served in Business Class is also available in Premium Economy and Economy Class on departures from Tokyo. Efforts have been made to keep the soft and chewy textures of the bread as the environment in the cabin is difference from the ground.

Hi,

Has anyone tried Fruit Platter served in Kingfisher or Jet Airways as part of meal?
Would like to know the quality, quantity and freshness.
Dont want to land up with 2 slices of apple and 1 banana for meal in stale state.

Thanks
Viny
Hi mate,
I think I'm late on answering this but I've tried fruit platters on many airlines incl Kingfisher, Jet Airways, Qatar Airways, Kuwait Airways, Air India & Singapore airlines. All of these airlines serve quality meal. While my experience has been good for all, it may occur in a few cases that their meal was stored for long time and it may seem stale. Sometimes, due to very low temperature in their storage, fruits tend to develop snow particles and it could result in bad taste too. But stay assured - Jet Airways is good with food options. Kingfisher is no longer operational.
