Is there any restriction traveling within India now a days ?

Due to Corona Virus infection lots of countries stopped flight services and many nations banned some countries' people to enter into their country.

My question is that, is there any such kind restriction traveling within India if one travels with proper precautions ?

ILP for Ladakh is suspended till further notice.


Leh DC office has suspended the issuance of Inner Line Permits for Ladakh region, for all tourists (Domestic/Foreigners) till any further notice.

Plan accordingly.


Other places May follow same at different areas.

Many States have stopped entry of Tourists - Domestic & International both.
Some states are not allowing Vehicles to cross border Check Posts.

Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Ladakh have banned entry of Tourists from any transport means.
Uttarakhand stopped giving stays to tourists - Domestic & International both.

It seems Tamil Nadu is sealing its borders with neighbouring states. At a time like this, it seems to be a wise thing to do. Also, lets NOT travel at a time like this. Even in Mumbai, Coffee Shops and restaurants have shut down. I think its a good move.

Complete Lockdown is still here.
After 21 March 2020, Lockdown was there in Delhi.
It is still going on in all states now after announcement from 25 to 14 April 2020.
Now 2 states, Odisha and Punjab have extended the dates to 2 more weeks.
2 more or some more states are recommending to extend complete Lockdown.

Final announcement will be made soon about complete Lockdown
