"had the 4x4 issue checked at my local mechanic who initialy advised me to get it checked at the ass........ laziness, but i insisted and he checked it by crawling beneath, just pushed the socket to the 4x4 sensor and it got resolved.( the check 4x4 sign was coming on after it was engaged each time )"
That sounds like a very lazy mechanic if you ask me.

Had my 10,000 km service done, the rear bed jumps a lot even on minor undulations,i reduced the air pressure in rear and had put in sand bags to decrease the vertical movement but had anybody tried anything else which can be done to reduce this problem other than suspension upgrade?

Interested in knowing the suspension setup, does D-Max comes in leaf suspension vs coil suspension?

You can go for heavy customized rear bumper with tow hook, that will help you a lot.
