2) Darjeeling to Gangtok
3) Please suggest more place for another 2 days
4) 4 to 5 days in Bhutan - covering Thimpu, Paro, Tiger reserve, etc.
5) Fly or train back to Mumbai

we have total 10 to 12 days to explore this region + extra in and out number days to reach till Siliguri / Jalpaiguri and back to Mumbai

March is a good time. And you do not need a visa to visit Bhutan (as long as all on your group are Indians). You can simply show your passport or Voter's card and get permit to enter Bhutan. I'm not aware of the current ground situations, however as far as you are not near the conflict region, you should be okay. The people are very peace loving and extremely welcoming towards Indians.

First of all you do not need visa while visiting Bhutan, you will have to apply for a permit in Phuentsholing (Indo-Bhutan Border) which will be valid for seven days. You will need voter id as a Proof of Identity and will take some hours to get your permit. If you are planning to tour on a bike, than you will have to obtain different permit for bikes, which will cost you Re 100/day. March would be ideal month to visit, the road would not be a problem and will enjoy every bit of trip. Having said that, bike rental in Bhutan can availed in Siliguri. If you are planning to rent a bike, Road Riders would be an ideal choice. Click on the link and have your queries resolved.
