Can you throw some light as well for accommodation around Sankoo / Panikhar / Parkachik ?

Moreover... how they can be booked ? Direct approach or via Kargil tourism office ?

As YS mentioned, all these places have JK Tourist Banglow, mostly empty, walk in and secure a room, unless you are looking for more rooms?

Sankoo have few other private guest houses as well

I visited last July, 2015.
what I observed, no need to worry on night stay.
my suggestion is: if possible go upto Pensi la pass crossing Rangdum.
I loved that point greatly.
