Great pics and great place, I will try to visit this places next year.
I have 2-3 basic questions dear Prajakt_23,
Is july a right time for this trek as there is so much snow
The other thing, how did you manage camera battery charging? becoz you have were trekking in that region for at least 7-8 days. Do you need one battery charged per day in advance for the whole trip or there is some provision for charging in tents or similar things?
Ok. Here are the answers. I had 2 SLRs with spare battery each. After leaving Kangan, there is no place where you would get opportunity to charge your batteries. Since I knew this, I was using them very cautiously. I had turned off auto cleaning of sensor on startup / stop. I had switched off auto preview as well. I used to preview photos only and as and when required. Apart from this, I used to take out the batteries from camera before sleeping, put them in socks and used to keep socks inside my sleeping bag to avoid draining of batteries. To my surprize, the first set of battery that I had in SLR, both were showing maximum charge even when I got down at Narnag. I have still not charged them and still able to click photos with the same batteries
I would say that if you want to enjoy snow as well, mid July is the month. But for better views, clear weather and more greenery and flowers, Aug would be better season but you might want to avoid ramazan since all horsemen as well as guides, might observe fast in ramzan.
