Hi Prajakt,
Loved the photos and the travelogue! What a treat! We, a group of 8, are planning to do this trek in the third week of June this year. It would be great if you can help us with the following information:
1. Guide's name and number, and how his service was.
2. In how many days can the trek be done (with 1 rest day for trout fishing)?
3. Do we need to carry tents/sleeping bags etc. or can we hire these from Sonmarg (or somewhere else, probably with Guide's help)?
4. What were the rates charged by the guide, porters, horses, etc.?
Looking forward to your suggestions.

Thanks for the complements. Yes, its a great trek indeed. I will PM you the details soon. About the trek plan, I think the plan that we had followed, gives good opportunity for trout fishing as well as rest days in between. I would recommend you that dont change the plan than what we had followed. According to me and locals, its not possible to do this trek in June. All the 3 passes would be snow covered making it risky to cross them. I would rather say if you want to enjoy the scenery and some sunlight, its better to go for this trek in first week of August. Generally the guides take care care of porters, horses, food, tents, sleeping bag etc. so need not worry on that front.
