Nice going Sir..
that night we reached guptkashi -there were very less pilgrimes in guptkashi so rates of hotel were down we stayed in a hotel and in morning went to make our permit for kedarnath journey -after devastating calamity govt has made it mandatory to register every pilgrim

Great Pics !
so many vehicles were stucked and abandoned in the sonprayag to gaurikund route-i could clearly see one ford endeavour and qawwalis and other vehicles-people just wanted to save their life and just run away from the uttrakhand...these photos were taken from height and from a 5 megapixel mobile camera with zoom so not clear...
on way we saw a damaged helicopter of prabhat aviation which used to ferry pilgrimes to kedarnath. that year 3 helicopter crashed in kedarnath .2 pvt and one was of army with 12 persons onboard . we saw another helicopters wreckage near kedarnath dham on another side of hill.at that time barely forty persons were visiting kedarnath dham daily. teerthyatra restarted in the mid of september after devastating flood
Great Pics !
