Kitchen Chimney - Suggestions please

Hello wonderful people,

Life has kept me busy with more than one thing and hence, even though I always want, I haven't been active here for a while.

But when you need real-life suggestions, no other family comes to my mind than this family of mine ;-)

This time around, I need suggestions regarding a Kitchen Chimney :p .

I have no idea about what & how of the product and looking up at Amazon only confuses me more, with prices of the same thing ranging from 5xxx to 20xxx !!

So, people with experience (read, married men) please come to the rescue.

The requirements are:
  • Tikau
  • For a family of 5
  • Not really costly but not an unheard of brand either.

Get baffle type chimney that has No Filters.
Check offline also to understand pros & Cons.
Check those models which should not make noise while operating.

Faber was known brand earlier now ellica is good option.

Ducts are always recommend & Kitchen hob should be same size (600x600) placed exactly below for better results.

I have been seeing a lot of Ellica lately. The prices too seem attractive. Any personal experiences of the same?
