Ladakh GPS Tracks

Here are a few GPS Tracks I had recorded on my Winter Trip to Ladakh and although I had uploaded them in the travelogue itself, I guess a dedicated might help more people, hence posting them below.

All the GPS Tracks were recorded using MYTracks Android App on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and some of them do not start exactly from the town itself, but a few hundred meters outside, due to delay in satellite lock.

Likir Monastery - Leh, using the Srinagar - Leh Highway: View attachment Likir-Leh.kml

Karu - Tangste: View attachment Karu-Tangstse.kml

Tangste - Chushul alternate route, only logged till a little ahead of Harong Wet Lands: View attachment Alternate Chusul Route.kml

Tangste - Pangong Tso - Spangmik - Man - Merak: View attachment Tangste-Merak.kml

Merak - Chushul - Dungti: View attachment Merak-Dungti.kml

Dungti - Rohngo - Loma Bridge - Hanle: View attachment Dungti-Hanle.kml

Hanle - Loma - Mood: View attachment Hanle-Mood.kml

Mood - Nyoma - Mahe Bridge - Tso Moriri (road to Chumur): View attachment Mood-Tso Moriri.kml

Tso Moriri - Mahe Bridge - Chumathang: View attachment Tso Moriri-Chumathang.kml

Chumathang - Upshi - Leh: View attachment Chumathang-leh.kml

In case anyone needs them GPX format, let me know and I will upload them.

I have posted a link too,
Most android mapping softwares allow you to download OSM tiles to the phone, just like you do for Google maps

Tanveer on more question, slightly off-topic.

Currently am using VX140 device from mapmyindia. The device doesn't have any facility to download any tracks on it.

Please suggest any devices on which I can download tracks???

So what? There are tons of travel guides, road status news, hotel reviews etc. all over the internet and even offline, but we still do that, because it helps people get all the info they require at one place, rather than having to Google/hunt for it all over the web!

Garmin units are pretty good and so are their India maps.
