Hi Guys..

Could you please help me in the locations to be mentioned on the inner line permits..

We are planning on trip from Ladakh -- Nubra -- Pangong Tso -- Tso Moriri -- Manali.

Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri, we want to do in one day and stay in Tso Moriri for the night as we are very tight on schedule.
When should we start from Pangong?

Thank you.

If you are taking the Chumathang route (especially since permit for Chushul route aren't being issued), then you only need to mention Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri.

Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri would take around 12 hours if not more, so start early.

Thank You Yogesh for the prompt reply.

Don't we need to mention the places in between?

Asia Guest House.. Mr. Sonam +91-9622958260 or +91-1982-253403
He can arrange permits.
Mr Sonam's staff insisted that we have to visit Leh to get the permit!!
Mr Ismail readily agreed for sending the permit by email if we send him the Photo ID and dates my email !!
Any idea if:
1. Photocopy / scan print of the permit is perfectly okay ? The checkpoint should not create a fuss about 'Original'
2. What are the prevailing rates of the permit including the agent charges for 7 days ? Is that per person or per permit listing the group

It is pouring like monsoon in Bangalore for the past 3 days. Fear monsoon is early this year and might affect late June/early July travellers!!

there is no issues using photo copies of ILPs but you should collect the original from the one who is arranging for you.

Leh'd and how!
I plan to do the same also. That map and tanveer's log are the holy grail of Leh.

Will bother dad again (if Chushul permit can be managed). Let me see how it pans out.

I have not the slightest idea about Charchagan La and how doable it is, therefore planned through Nyoma to Tso Moriri. If a 2WD XUV can do what you have mentioned, I am definitely game for it.
You are doing ample adventure between Hanle and Kyun Tsos already, Charchagan La shouldn't be any tougher! :)
Also, if you are getting SBC, Chushul would be a mere formality! :D
