Just make sure the guy who gets you the permit, writes Mahe, Nyoma and Loma Bend on them. If he doesn't you can end up in big trouble, since you won't be stop by cops, but rather by paramilitary.

Stay a night in Nyoma. Foreigners can now go to Nyoma. While going Leh-Nyoma you can take the 8km diversion to Yaye Tso

Thanks. Any good hotel/guest house with attached bathroom in Nyoma?

There may be some private guest houses, but I am not sure. The local forest guest house and another pwd guest house have attached bathrooms, but are always occupied by somebody or the other.
though nyoma is a big town, there are not many stay options there. However, Chumathang(2hrs before Nyoma has stay options). Chumathang-Yaye-Leh can be an easy day trip.

Wow, stunning!
Thanks

Thanks Tsk1979.

How's the landscape at Nyoma?

How's this: Leh-Chumthang with night stay at Chumthang; next day Tso Yaye-Nyoma-Tso Moriri with 2 nights at Tso Moriri, Or

Leh-Nyoma with night stay Nyoma; next day Tso Yaye-Tso Moriri.

Landscape just before Nyoma is awesome. You will need to drive till around 5kms of Nyoma to get a glimpse of the famous red hills.
Both plans are good.
You can do this
Leh - Yaye Nyoma
Nyoma-Mahe-Tso moriri
Tso moriri - Tso Kar - Back towards manali or leh

tsk1979, thanks once again. Nyoma & Yaye seem good places to visit.

I'm spending two nights at Maan Village on Tso Pangong. Besides, Tso Chagar, which you've mentioned elsewhere, any other places nearby to see for the landscape?

Most good regions like Marsimik La are out of bounds. So you can trek to the other side of pangong, and climb the low hills at the start of the lake.
You can also try to climb the lower hills on the south bank of Pangong to get amazing views.
While going to spangmik., the road climbs high, its an excellent road and offers a panoramic view

Re: Two spare nights in Ladakh

tsk1979 thanks for the valuable suggestions, which I'm certain will make my trip richer.

My friend, a foreigner, can accompany me, for lack of time, only to two of the three regions that I plan to visit:

1. 2 nights at Tso Pangong at Maan;
2. 1 night at Pyoma; 2 nights at Tso Moriri; one night at Tso Kar;
3. 1 night at Hunder; two nights at Turtuk; one night at Sumur.

Of the three, which in your opinion would be the two best choices. I, of course, will go to all three.
