River Gangavali joining the Arabian sea at Honnebail in Northern Karnataka
The coastal region on Northern Karnataka is dotted with secluded beaches where one can hang around undisturbed by crowds. Having spent the afternoon lazing around one such beach (Kasarkod Beach), I was looking for another secluded beach with a nice sunset. While the sunset was obscured by clouds, I did have a great view of the Gangavali delta.
This picture is a panorama of 4 pictures, taken when I climbed a small hillock with views of Gangavali river joining the Arabian sea. While it was empty at that time, it had been was much frequented and littered with wrappers and plastic bottles. I had to clone some of those out from the bottom of the picture.
