oh boy! made me remember my honeymoon . We went there in 2004. Had couple of meals.

All in all good taste and value for money. In the end they offered saunf laced date fruit, which wifey rather liked. Ah!! those were the days.

During my last visit to Shimla i visited following eateries and liked their food:

Indian coffee house for superb breakfast

Guptajee's for lunch and dinner, this Vaishno bhojnalaya offers tasty flood at reasonable rates

My favorite Beekays near Scandal point for pastries and burger

Sitaram for Chana kulche, which was ok type

Tripti bakeries for fantastic pastries at low price

Krishna bakeries for sandwiches

Yes, Goofa on the ridge is the best restaurant to visit as it is the place where one can see the Shimla in a great way. One must visit this place if go to Shimla tour.

IMHO : Its over-hyped. Food is OK

I don't want to eat Choley Bhature at any other place! So, you know what I mean
