I am looking for a hotel or guest house in Lamayuru for one night. The only entry I could find in this list was "Hotel Moonland"; but the telephone no. is not provided. Please help.

thanks for list,i was just checking through it.
I found Hotel KIDAR is listed in D class- Tariff is 1100Rs.. but cleartrip.com is putting up 3000Rs per room.
so is this list really relevant..\\?

Have you tried calling and checking with the hotel directly?

Also every hotel has different types of rooms and rates differ for them, this holds true for small guest houses to 7 star hotels.

i am planning a night halt at Pangong lake between 20 -25 jun. Which is better option home stay at spangmik or tents at shore???
is it necessary to book in advance or you can get a walk in accomodation??

Tents are in and around Spangmik, not on shore, since Pangong Tso is a protected area.

At the end of the day, it comes down to your budget. If you have the budget for luxury tents, then you shouldn’t be considering home stays and if you can’t afford them, then there is no other choice but to consider home stays .

There shouldn't be a problem in arriving there and then looking for accommodation. Unless a large group decides to travel to Pangong on the same day. In which case, you always have the option of riding/driving up to Man/Merak Village or going back to Tangste.
