List of things to carry for a winter trip to Ladakh

    yogesh sir we (raman and me) plan to visit stikage shop in delhi in the second week of december for this purpose . may be meet to you if possible

    yogesh sir as you said forclaz 500 are ok for ladakh in winter for normal use, and for chadar we think about gum boot with 2-3 socks

    that is so damn helpful. Planned my trip last summer to Ldakh, We were not that much prepared........that made our little problems a larger one.

    I believe RKBharat had bought a jacket from Adventure Point for less than that and it proved to be quite good. Alternatively, have a look at jackets from North Face or similar brands (no idea about pricing of it though).

    You can buy a balaclava, but that might not be very comfortable to wear all the time. I just used a woolen monkey cap and it was enough for most situation.
