Lovely travelogue, glued to it! Oops, 21 hours of non-stop driving is something unique! Hats off to your stamina! By the way, can you please share your views on the current road condition of NH-34, please ? Thanks.

This trip was done on may 2014. On 25th Dec 2014 I made another 4 days trip to Yuksom and Darjeeling. I am sharing the road condition of dec-2014.

1. Kolkata - Krishnanagar - Good.
2. Krishnanagar - Baharampur - Bad, sometimes the road is good with diversion but sometime there is no road at all. :)
3. Naharampur - Farakka - Excellent
4. Farakka - Maldah - very Bad.. very difficult to maintain a good average.
5. Maldah - Dalkhola - Average but lots of JAM.
6. Dalkhola - Siliguri - Veri Good with lots of patches.

I am going to Bhutan tonight only. This time I will take Saktigarh->NH2B->Bolepur->Suri->Dumka->Bhagalpur->Purnia->Dalkhola->Siliguri.
In December 2014 I took the road while returning.

Bhutan! I'm really thrilled. You are always (well, almost!) on the move. Lucky you! This time I would be looking forward to Travelogue from Day 1. Specially, your report on the new route would be my priority No.1. Thanks.
