Looking for travel partner/s to Leh Ladakh on Bajaj Avenger DTS 220

I am planning to travel to Leh/Ladakh on my Avenger 220 in this month (July).

This will be my first drive to Ladakh so I am looking for people who have experience on the Avenger on such long routes. I don't mind if you are an individual or a group as long as we can look out for each other

Not decided on the dates but am free most of the time.

Hi friends Bajaj avenger is an awesome bike and for long routes its extremly comfortable..provides better leg and back support than other popular bikes on leh routes..i just came back from leh 2 weeks back. I rode my avenger from delhi to srinagar, leh manali del.The most important thing to remeber is to take along spares..while for bullet you ll find almost everyyhing along the route, for avenger you would not get anything at all. Not even the tube even in the cities along the way. Let me know if you ve any specific questions.. best wishes.

I am Rakesh from Mumbai & have planned Ladakh trip too in July. I am travelling solo on my RE. I am starting from Mumbai on 28/7 by Swaraj Exp. Would be doing Jammu-Srinagar-Kargil (Parikutchey)-Zanskar (Padum)-Panikar-Alchi-Leh-Nubra-Pangong-Tsomoriri-Manali-Chandigarh. Total 22 days. If you could match the dates, we can plan together.

But somebody told me that the trip if done via srinagar allows for better aclamitisation . Looking forward to the trip. Can avenger handle a pillion ? I am planning Manali - Leh - Kargil - srinagar- Jammu.
On a Bajaj Avenger this June . we are two myself and my wife. Will be just married then. It has been a long cherished dream for both of us . and we specifically wanted to do it on a motorcycle.

Our plan is as follows .

Ship bike delhi to Manali GATI courier

? What time will we arrive in Manali?
29 June , Manali,
? Hotel not yet booked should we do it online ,any suggestion for a place to stay. Who can also recieve our bike as a GATI courier.

? Many gentlements in the forum has adviced to avoid staying at Sarchu. What else are the option???

Gentlements my worries .will our proud Indian Bajaj manufactured Avenger 220 be able to do this 1500+ km .
With two of us. BOTH OF US ARE RIDERS....
I have read the bike preparation thread . and started. Managing tools and spares. Is it possible to fit a mobile charger to a rearvbreak shoe light spring connections.
Will our bike Avenger be able yo cross those fast waters .
