Starting work out tomorrow after a gap of 8 years. Hope I can stick to my plan this time around.

Will post my progress reqularly. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. It has given me that push to start work out again.

Cheers,
Karthik.
Been a month since i started. Down to 84kgs from 89. Targeting to reduce another 10kgs in the next 4 months.

Feels good

Links removed, since neither of them work (they just redirect to home page and there is no discount on checkout or coupons displayed) and also contain affiliate links, posting of which is against forum rules.

Gentlemen, some advice needed on diet. Below is what i'm following currently:

Breakfast (post workout) - 2 Eggs (white only), an apple & a banana
Lunch - 3 rotis. Sometimes sabji, sometimes dal
Dinner - Fruits/salads

I eat non veg (chicken or mutton) once a week mostly for lunch.
I eat rice once a week mostly for lunch.

A couple of questions:
* I have a feeling i'm not taking in enough calories. Am i correct?
* Is it essential to take protein suplements if my daily does of nutrient intake is not met?

PS: its been a month since I started work out & I work out 6 days a week for 90-120mins everyday.

I weigh 84kilos & stand 5.11 tall.

TIA :)

Photo will be desirable along with working principle. Keeping egg content on fingers for some time and filtration of white part does the trick perfectly for me.

A plastic bottle can also be used to suck yolk in neat and clean way.

Guys,

A simple mantra. Eat everything on earth moderately. Run 2-4kms a day. Be light on dinner. That's it really :)

My regime.
No diet control.
I run 8kms every alternate day (max 1 hour), and weekend run of 15-20kms(2-3hours).
2 days a week - 30 minutes gyming. (light weight lifts)
My weight is almost stuck at 70kgs (5 9 tall)

Cheers

90-120 mins is a lot of workout. Are you sure you aren't taking too much rest in between exercises?

Yes, calories should be maintained around 1400 or whatever your BMR suggests, and try to get more cals from proteins.

I do cardio everyday & weights on alternate days. I probably am taking a little more rest than it's actually required between exercises. But i need to track this & bring the rest time down.
