During my recent trip to Mt. Abu, I had stayed at Hotel Maharaja located near Polo Ground. Its a popular hotel in Mt. Abu.

Rooms were cozy and clean and so were the bathrooms. Room Service is quick and polite. They offer almost any veg. dishes - Gujarati, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Chinese, Fast food etc in room as they have 4 restaurants too. Plus they don't charge extra for room service. BTW food was delicious.

They charged INR 900/Day but their tarrif card says Rs 1590/Day. Anyways avoid Mt. Abu on weekends as lots of chaotic tourists would spoil your holiday.

Maybe the Aluminum Composite Panels made you think like that :)

Actually its become a fashion to use AL CO Panels... I have seen many villas using AL CO Panels these days :(

Thank you for the information, I was just looking for a hotel in that area. It sounds really nice and the price seems to be okay (and it is very important that the staff is friendly), so I'll take a look at it.

There are 5/6 hotels opp Polo Ground. Good veg gujrati restaurant /Thali is available at ARBUJA near Ambedkar statue . Their Neon is visible from distance. polo ground and this Restaurant are just 1.00km walking and lake is 1.00 km from this spot to other side. Its an old establishment and has a Gen next section also. Our experience last year was good .

can you recommend any place for July 3rd to 5th as I will be driving from Ahmadabad to Mt. Abu then to Udaipur..? thanks
