Manali - Leh road status, 2010

Just came back from leh via manali yesturday in my i10....just got 1 dent due 1 river crossing....
otherwise road is not that bad for small cars...this was another patch near to above shown in video...here we managed to cross the stream in one go without thinking too much abt car damage...and we cleared it without any damage..

HI,
THERE is Good News !!! I have talked to Hotel/ Tent Managers

Iceland Hotel at Solang Valley, Ibex at Jispa , and Planet Himalaya Tents

at Sarchu, on phone just about 10 min. earlier. ALL three

said that

NOW there is No Problem on the Manali - Leh Highway . Tourists are

reaching there destinations with in reasonable time. On questioning about

the long traffic Jams at Baralachala , the Guy at Sarchu, said that a

lot of Heavy commercial vehicles rushed on to the road , since the

Highway had opened after a long interval hence the problems.

The tents too are functional and there is no problem.

Well than Guys and Gals Go ahead.
