I am guessing you're planning to take the jeep instead of trekking?

Best time to visit would be around June to August, with even May and September-October would be fine, but a little colder.

It is better to start from Kathmandu, you will likely get more economical packages from Nepalese travel agents, to whom most of Indian agents outsource.

You will need 12-14 days from Kathmandu to do this trip.

As far as trekking is concerned, I believe the only option is to opt for Kailash Mansrovar Yatra by the government.
