Thank you. One question. These 'food and accommodations'. Are they locals welcoming pilgrims or are they commercial businesses like McDonalds?

There are simple & small place Dhabas & Home Stay type arrangements.
No Luxury at all.
If you have seen small places then you can understand it.
They are commercial but helpful with limited means.
Accommodation means after Hadsar : Old style Wooden Huts with basic bed and wood stove (Chulha) / cylinder Gas Stove only.

McDonalds is only at Pathankot.
May be in Chamba possible.
But not ahead at all.
No Big Restaurants / Hotels are there ahead of Chamba.

Manimaheash Yatra starts from Bharmour as it is the last point where you will some hotels / resort / homestays, market etc. of a small town.
They are commercialised but peolpe are welcoming here this side.
Hadsar is base from where yatra statrs.
You can see few Dhabas only here operational all year and few Guides are also at Hadsar.
Can't say anything available about winter months and this Covid year.

People have gone with the guide only here if it is not Yatra time.
Yatra is there only for 3-4 weeks approx only in July / August.

After Hadsar, only 1 Dhaba is at Dhanchho and may be 1 Dhaba at Sundrasi,
Nothing else is there.
After Bharmour don't expect luxury at all.
You will get Concrete Roof only ar Hadsar if available.
You will get a Dhaba only and simple night stay.

If you are ok to have basic needs then only go otherwise avoid this place.
Make Bharmour as Base and roam on roads nearby.
Trek is tough and takes much energy.
Kugti is also nearby where a Long Trek Starts to go towards Lahaul Valley.

Manimahesh yatra 2021 Manimahesh Lake (also known as Dal Lake, Manimahesh) is a high altitude lake (elevation 4,048 meters (13,390 ft)) situated close to the Manimahesh Kailash Peak in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Bharmour subdivision of Chamba district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The religious significance of this lake is next to that of Lake Manasarovar in Tibet.
