Map: Nubra Valley + Changthang (Ladakh)

There is a petrol pump there, which has fuel, once in a blue moon :D.
My mapping shows fuel in Disket :)
@ Matt : Can your GPS system calculate when that bluemoon is, when the fuel station at Diskit will have fuel. :D

I bought petrol at Nyoma (in black) @ 70 INR a bottle. It was a 650ml beer bottle. You do the maths.

No problem with quality.
Price upto 200% is ok, but quality the bigger concern. Thanks for the pointer.

Unfortunatly not, it will show where the pump is the wait for the blue moon :)

Your bike should be fine running on anything down to 79ron, Ive had a 1000cc sportbike run without problems on 79...

Here I am filling up with 80ron...

Few liters of supposedly 91 RON from a UP or Rajasthan Highway pumps and your bike will be huffing and puffing by the road side :D

Words of wisdom and experience from Matt and Harsh have given me the much needed confidence to take on the circuit for which I have been planning for last one year. Obviously, I'll try to carry maximum possible fuel from Leh and then Diskit (if available) but then I won't shy away from buying petrol from open market now.

The cleanest fuel can be had in Ladakh from the small shops. Only warning. Do not buy after 15th october, then its ATF, and can mess up common rail engines. Was told to me by the shop owner himself.
