I might not go to Hanle, is there any surety of fuel in Nyoma? And do they really do the rationing of fuel or can we get as much as possible?

Really thanks for the info Harsh.Vikas,
Petrol is found in abundance at Nyoma in beer bottles. On an off day, I was able to procure around 25L of petrol - 15 went straight into the tank and the rest was all additional for jerrycans. The quality was not a problem at all too. I had obviously filled by C500 with that - but I gave some to a buddy who was on a Yamaha FZ - he did not complain on the quality either. As far as I can remmeber, they had plenty left as well. I could've refueled at Hanle too if I wanted too, but Nyoma refuelling on teh return leg made much more sense.
Harsh Sir,After gathering information from some very good guide maps out there (especially by Bharat), and some hours spent on Google Earth + Photoshop, i finally managed to create a map for my reference, for my first upcoming trip to Ladakh. Although my wife has been there before, i am yet to be there.
Hope this helps some of you. The distances marked are a little tentative, i hope to mark my trail on GPS while on the trip and mark correct distances and complete the map when i'm back.
In the meanwhile, people who've already done the Leh trips, and have experience could guide me at places where i've gone wrong in the map. This would help me greatly on my trip as well.
Edit: here is the updated map after the trip.

Batal to Chhatru will get yellow. And is that Imran asking this question?Harsh Sir,
You have marked the stretch from Agam till Shyok village Red - only 4x4 with high ground Clearance
Tso Kar to Sumdo Yellow - 4x4 preferably high road Clearance necessary
and rest most of the roads as Black - Motorable for all
just to understand the road conditions better, what would you color code the stretch from Batal to Chatru?
thanks in advance![]()
