Missing Karol Bagh? Haven't gone shopping on Ajmal Khan Road lately?
No issues.
Take this different route instead.

NH58 to Roorkee via Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Purkazi; NH72A to Mussoorie via Chhutmalpur, Mohand Tunnel, Dehra Dun and Rajpur.
And there you are, 269 km from Delhi, on your summer break, and bang in the middle of Karol Bagh!
Such is the mayhem of the Mall at Mussoorie.

The highway to Dehradun is in perfect condition.

The tarmac is excellent.
Not a single bump or pothole. Really!

The sheer variety of trees growing alongside is amazing.
And so many shades of green.
Intense, brooding green.

There were fruit bearing trees as well. Orchards of mangoes and litchies and all the summer fruits.

All the roads in Dehradun meet at this point.
Ask any local for directions to Mussoorie, and they will send you here.

The deemed world heritage monument on the left.
Blink, and you will miss it. And you'll be lost!
