September is a good time to go to Mussoorie. Not as crowded but I may be wrong as I haven't been there for 5-6 years now. Thanks for all the info that you are providing, sir!

Things could have been so different if you'd gone at a different time of year.
May = Mayhem.
Also June.

However, you're doing a fine job of documenting your experiences! :cool:

Came to home from my 5th Mussourie and Dhanaulti tripof this year, 2 hrs back. Although was not able to see any peaks from the view points due to the clouds and mist but enjoyed the trip thoroughly. Off season, less crowd, even lesser hotel room rents and yes...

NO MAYHEM ON MALL ROAD :p :grin:

I thought that the hill stations would be crowded but didn't imagine that it would be like this.
Waiting for more...

The Mall, Mussoorie

Mussoorie is perched on a high ridge and stretches all of 15 km.

Right n the center is a piece of real estate called The Mall.

The Mall is where all the heat and the action is.

Many of the decent hotels are situated right here.

Escape the Mall, and you can actually breathe easy, for that real "hill station" experience.

The Mall has two ends, one is the Picture Palace.

The other is the Library end.

All the vehicular movement converges at either of the two ends.

Its useful to know which side you'll arrive or park your car and where your place of stay is located from either end.
