@Anupji: Konkan rail route is best during monsoons & Springs..

@Ceobharat: Same like in Punjab people are crazy to go to canada,Uk. Same here in Kerala basically it looks like Dubai will soon claim Kerala as their state

I second the things mentioned here about he Konkan railway, having done the Delhi - Trivandrum journey a couple of times. The via-ducts are the best part. If you get the chance, stand by the open door and look down as the train passes over a via - duct. You'll get the feel of how things look from a helicopter!
