Motorcycle Trip to Leh Ladakh in June 2017

I planned with couple of my friends for a 2 Weeks Leh Ladakh motorcycle trip in May end. As passes are not open yet so postponed the same to June 2017. I do not have 100% confirmation from my friends yet. I will be riding a Royal Enfield Classic 500 and looking for partners for this trip. We will try to cover following places in 2 weeks time. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Any modifications or suggestions to this itinerary are most welcome. I am also thinking to make it upside down and Start from Manali and come back from Srinagar. I still have buffer for couple of more days in case any other place should be added in this.

Day 1 Delhi To Pathankot
Day 2 Pathankot to Patnitop/Batote
Day 3 Parnitop to Srinagar
Day 4 Srinagar to Kargil
Day 5 Kargil to Leh
Day 6 Rest Day at Leh and Bike/Gear Checkups
Day 7 Leh to Tso Pangong via Chang La
Day 8 Tso Pangong to Nubra Valley via Shyok Route
Day 9 Nubra Valley to Leh via Khardung La
Day 10 Leh to Sarchu
Day 11 Sarchu To Manali
Day 12 Manali To Delhi

Please let me know asap in case any individual/group is interested.

As for the above two days, you can easily cover Pathankot to Srinagar in one day. It is approx 330kms, about 200-220kms is in plains. Leave early by 5am, you will easily reach by early evening. This will give you one extra day for Ladakh ride later.

I am little worried about leaving solo from Delhi Also dont want to join a big group for freedom and and to save money as well There should be some risk and thrill involved for a Two weeks trip, dont want to be in shadow of a Mechanic always.

Agreed, we can go from Manali and take that decision at Leh wether to return via Srinagar or Manali. We will check the conditions when we are at Leh.
