bhai, i drove my car while coming to Navi Mumbai, but this time due to shortage of time i am avoiding driving back home, its not about the money but the complete safety of car what i am looking forward to, anyway the money spent by me will be reimbursed by the new company.
I have heard about few of the incidents where the packers and movers harassed their clients, the purpose of the starting this thread is to be aware of such crooks and avoid them.

What type of harassment was it?Can you please elaborate.As i am also thinking of sending the car by movers i would definitely like to know.
Incidentally which car is it?
In oct 2010 Aggarwal had quoted 10500 for carting my beat from gurgaon to bombay in a dedicated medium comm.vehicle.When you get a quote from others could you pl post that and whether it will be sent in a dedicated vehicle?

Ask at any maruti showroom, if they don't help, you can tip the watchman of their stockyard to make necessary arrangements the great indian way

Another option for your car. Talk to Maruti Trailers in your city. They can also shift your car to Gurgaon. They will charge much less. For my car they charged 13 K. From Delhi to Bangalore. Also the car cost depends upon the car model. Hatchback or Sedan.

Although cost effective but should be avoided. chances of damage are pretty high and trailer walla will not help u ..use a proper packers and movers guys where in he covers your car with his own insurance . could be costly little but peace of mind is assured against any damages .

I have taken the service of LEO Packers and Movers India pvt Ltd, Toll Free number: 18004254858
Amount Charged for Transporting Dzire from Navi Mumbai to New Delhi: Rs 10000 +Taxes + Insurance, which comes to approx 15000/-

Imp Points:
a. Good Staff, hassel free packing, loading and unloading.
b. You have to pay in advance some amount, being a corporate deal, i gave the Packers a amount of 50% at loading stage and 50% at unloading point.
c.Car reached with 100% AS-IS condition.
d. overall fine service and recommended.
