Mumbai To Kanyakumari on Dominar 400

Its been 2 years and I have never been to long bike ride trip and the worst part was I upgraded to Dominar 400 to go for long trips I was wasting Domi's 400cc engine power only in Mumbai Traffic.

This year I decided to conquer Bhutan or Nepal as I have already done Ladakh and Spiti Valley so this time plan was to cross international border. Plan made, route decided asked few friends but one thing i forgot to get a permission from wifey

If you are married then you already know, the difficult part is "to get a permission from your better-half" even telling your result to your parents was much easier. Route, bike, plan etc are the secondary things for bike trip if you are married and if you are able to get permission from your wife then your 50% work is already done.

And the best part was i manged to convinced my wife All things were with me but god has another plan in his mind, due to some personal reason i have to cancel my plan

As my initial plan was cancelled and i had only 1 week Office leaves so was searching for another destination which i can cover in that time-frame, going through all the bike travelogues I ended with Kanyakumari.

one week of intensive search on YouTube and travelogues I finalized my Mumbai To Kanyakumari ride plan.

Mumbai To Kanyakumari Route :

Day 1 - Mumbai To Banglore
Day 2 - Banglore To Madurai
Day 3 - Madurai To Kanyakumari
Day 4 - Stay in Kanyakumari
Day 5 - Kanyakumari To Rameshwaram
Day 6 - Rameshwaram To Banglore
Day 7 - Banglore To Kolhapur
Day 8 - Kolhapur To Mumbai

Day 1 : Mumbai To Banglore

Its Day 1 and today's total journey was around 950 Kms. We are very excited to start our journey so we have started around 4.30 AM in the morning and thought we will reach by 7 PM in Banglore.

We are very confident that we can easily achieve the target of 950 KMs in a day, But there is thin line between confidence and over-confidence and we crossed that thin line.

We thought roads are awesome so we will maintain the good average speed and will reach to Banglore on time, but when we crossed the Kolhapur and completed around 500Kms we started to feel fatigue and our average speeds dropped marginally and we reached around 10:30 PM in Banglore.

Day 6 is going to be long ride around 1250 kms, you can consider Davanagere as a stop depending on that day's energy.

Day 2 - Banglore To Madurai.

As I told you we reached to Banglore around 10:30 PM and we had zero energy left so no vlogs...no drama...just reached to our room and went to sleep.

Day 2 is Banglore to Madurai which is around 490 Kms and due to yesterdays hectic ride we started from Banglore late around 9:30 AM

We took lot of water breaks in our journey due to high temperature in Tamil nadu, which costing us low average speeds. Luckily we got a chance to had lunch at saravana bhavan which is very famous for its authentic South Indian food.

We reached around 8 PM in Madurai, We had a very famous mutta parotta and Chicken fry for dinner in Madurai.

Day 3 - Madurai To Kanyakumari

Today's ride was just only 250 kms around 4 to 5 hrs journey, so we decided to visit Meenakshi Temple.

Tried the famous dessert of Madurai i.e. Jigarthanda and had Idali of Murugan Idali.

Day 3 Madurai To Kanyakumari Journey Started

We have started from Madurai To Kanyakumari around 11 AM It just a 250 Kms ride so we explored Meenakshi temple in the morning.

Roads were superb but the problem was Cross winds, It was nearly impossible to go above 85 KM/Hr.

In route we found a dhaba whose owner worked in Mumbai and we had a good conversation with him.

Day 4 - Stay in Kanyakumari

Sunrise Point of Kanyakumari : As we took one day buffer to explore Kanyakumari...so we decided to visit some places in Kanyakumari.
