"So, the trip is made by three of us, the God driving, my loving bike, and me, a humble pillion rider resting my hands on the handle bar just to balance myself"......Khagesh Sir, thanks for sharing so beautiful... so humble.... Sir, whenever you in Delhi love to meet you or If i happen to down south....with deepest regards Manish
Thank you Manish. You even quoted what I wrote which takes me back spiritually. When I wrote, I truly meant it. It was a great feeling, which possibly could be experienced only on solo trips, may be. Humble? Well, I have not come across a single person who wasn't humbled by the Mighty Himalayas, whether they accept it or not openly.

Thank you Ramesh.

I can see you are a flier. I too did a bit of flying but not in its exotic form; Sukhois and Jaguars: hang gliding and powered hang gliding bit of three axis too but just a joy rides in two seaters, somehow couldnt get hang of it for claustrophobic and controls reversed there.

Great to know you also took to the skies.
well i had a real busy flying career,
i was also an Instructor and did a tenure in Bidar, and later did a tenure at Air Force Academy at Dindigal as Chief Flying Instructor. I am also a Pilot Attack Instructor like that movie Top Gun. We have our own in India too, and very few get to go and do it.

I am not as lucky as you Ramesh. Not many get an opportunity to earn from their passion and make someone else pay for their passion. Simply IAF paid for your flying and I had pay for my flying either in cash or kind. Nevertheless, all the flyers have a sense of community, for they share same lovely stories, be it an instructor or a student. Remember hilarious Richard Bach's story on series of mistakes in his 'Gift of Wings'?

Anyway, I was associated with the manufacturing of X-Air on managerial level and personally know Chandran the gliding instructor at Mysore. Prior to that we used to manufacture, test, train and sell, again managerial level job. As told you earlier, almost all flying, whatever little I had was on weight shift not on 3-axis.

So nice to have acquaintance with you Ramesh and love to hear your stories too. Nevertheless, this is not a platform though. We can share it in inbox.

Thank you once again, and Happy Landings.

Thank you so much. This travelogue comes alive after such a long break.

If everything works out well, I plan to leave on 22nd April 2018 on such a similar solo trip to Nepal Muktinath and EBC. If conditions favour me, I would do Damodar Kunda too and present another travelogue. Lets see.
