A very comprehensive review, Very nice:)

I differ wrt Jet, Jetkonnect/Jetlite are mosty old planes from earstwhile Sahara. I never had on time experience with them.

For me, Indigo is class apart from all others. Rarely had any delayed arrival.

However, during fogy weather, I prefer Air India as they have one of the best trained pilots and ensure on time depart even in zero visibility.

Have never been to Air with Go Air.

Thanks skysat.

Yes they have old sahara planes, but now-a-days they are acquiring more Boeing on domestic routes. I anyhow will update ratings based on your feedback.

Indigo is class leading but still I feel they are behind Naresh Goyal's fleet, specially on the same airbuses, no in flight entertainment. As they have started international routes, they should consider these parameters along with the cost.

In fogs, I recommend Jet airways over AI as they too are Cat-3 complaint.

Good that you have never been to GoAir :)

I think ride quality depends on the weather condition and not on Pilots (Drivers) expertise....

Want to share today's experience with Indigo Airlines

I had a flight today at 10.15 a.m. from Delhi airport, but I got stuck in traffic jam so badly (from Rajouri till Naraina) that I missed my flight. Reached 20 mins prior and boarding gates were closed for my flight. I requested to adjust our seats either in this flight or in the next flight with fare difference but they didn't do it. Amount was also not refunded.

I fought hard with them on their part as their rude attitude isn't acceptable. Then I mailed to Indigo about this incident. Got phone call and they accepted that my problem was genuine and the officials haven't done their job well. They also told that refund amount of 50% (which is roughly 4k) will be given within next 15 days.

I had taken flight from Mumbai to Delhi in June 2013. It's a good airport with many shops post security check. This airport is still under expansion but I am not sure how much it has been progressed till date. 2 years ago I was a frequent flyer on Mumbai - Delhi - Mumbai section. Then also the airport was under expansion.

Comparatively Delhi's IGI has 3 runways, 3 terminals ( 1 for domestic flights, 1 for Haj pilgrims and third one - T3 which I assume is the largest in India for all international flights). Delhi's airport is so big that it takes sometimes 10 to 15 minutes in the bus to reach the arrival terminal once the flight has landed. Its more or less completed in all respects.

I have had terrible experience with Go Air... Same seat no allocated to me and one other passenger on 2 different legs of same flight (Port blair - Kolkata-Delhi)... There was hardly anything even close to apology and the complaint was answered with "we hope you forget this incident and continue flying with Go Air" almost after a month of logging complaint...

I have flown Jet airways may times and have had no issues with them.

Erstwhile Kingfisher was good in terms of in flight services but were notorious for combining and rescheduling flights..

Thanks Nishchaya for the info.

Its a Bangalore based airline which is not operating services to tier 1 cities like Delhi, Mumbai etc.

Nice pics Sandeep :) IGI is truly a luxury experience supposedly. Loved the F1 Mclaren. I am a great fan of F1. I just missed watching Indian Gp this time. Huge money gone down the drain :(
