Nice. I visited this fort long ago while driving down from Chidambaram to Kanyakumari. Looks like they are doing a good job maintaining the old fort.

It is called touring seat, costing ₹ 4,830 offered by Royal Enfield, configured at the time of online booking and delivered with the ordered accessories.

Today, my Classic 350 got its second free service - 5 k km/6 months - done at the company service centre, OMR, Chennai. I was charged ₹ 401 for the chain lube & cleaner kit, oil and the consumables. The present odometer reads 1,550 km.

Its a great blogs..I just started and i believe it may take more than a day to go through this entire thread of yours.

I went through most of all your posts. One thing curious is, how you managing this long rides.
Me too doing solo rides up and down to < 300 kms only. Feeling tired sometimes.
I use FZ25 and Benelli TnT300i for long rides.

More than your physical fitness , i believe its your passion to ride and drive it giving you more strength to do so.
May be next month i am planning for up and down 400 kms, Will update you on this.

Consumable Charges - 118. Hidden Charges?
For the oils which they take (Old Used Oil), it will cost around 40 to 50 INR for a litre. Cant they waive off these charges?

Chennai>Kolli Malai>Chennai in 19 hours

On 31 May 2023 [Wednesday], I took my Classic 350 to Kolli Malai and back. Left Chennai Royapettah home at 4:17 am, rode on the 70+ hairpin bends of Kolli Malai and arrived at Valvil Ori's statue at 1:15pm. Spent some time at Seekuparai view point, bought some home-made chocolates and left for home by 2 pm and arrived home by 11:30 pm after wading through numerous traffic jams, while entering Chennai. The fuel efficiency recorded was 37 kmpl by tanful-to-tankful method.

Today [2 June 2023], took my bike to Royal Enfield company service station at OMR, Chennai for the fourth free service scheduled at 18 months.
